2. Scope

These Terms apply to the use of the LeonLab.ai website, SaaS platform and all related services, features, interfaces, automations and AI-assisted tools.

Any deviating terms of users shall only apply if LeonLab has expressly agreed to them in writing.

3. Description of Services

LeonLab is a SaaS platform for AI-assisted support with WordPress-related tasks, website analysis, code creation, plugin and snippet generation, automations and technical workflows.

Users can connect WordPress projects, analyze technical information, generate code or recommendations and execute certain actions through provided interfaces.

The specific scope of functionality may vary depending on the selected plan, development status, technical availability and activated integrations.

4. Registration and User Account

Certain features require a user account. The user is obliged to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep their access credentials confidential.

The user is responsible for all activities carried out through their account, to the extent that the user is responsible for them.

5. Connecting WordPress Projects

Users may connect their own WordPress websites or WordPress projects with LeonLab. In doing so, technical website information, URLs, plugin and theme data, analysis results, logs and credentials, tokens or application passwords provided by the user may be processed.

The user confirms that they are authorized to connect the respective website with LeonLab and to provide the required credentials or permissions.

The user may disconnect or delete connected projects at any time, provided that the respective function is technically available.

6. AI-Generated Content, Code and Recommendations

LeonLab may use AI to generate content, code, plugin structures, snippets, technical recommendations, analyses and automation suggestions. AI-generated results may be incomplete, incorrect or unsuitable for the specific intended use.

The user is responsible for independently reviewing, testing and, where necessary, adapting AI-generated content, code and technical recommendations before using them in production.

LeonLab does not guarantee any specific economic, technical or legal outcome, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

7. User Obligations

Users may use LeonLab only lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. In particular, users must not:

  • connect, analyze or modify third-party systems without authorization,
  • create or distribute malicious code, malware or unlawful content,
  • bypass security mechanisms of the platform,
  • use the platform excessively, abusively or contrary to technical restrictions,
  • violate third-party rights, data protection law or other legal provisions.

8. Conclusion of Contract

A contract for paid services is concluded when the user selects a paid plan, provides the required information and completes the payment process, or when LeonLab otherwise confirms the contract.

For free trials or free features, a usage relationship is established when the account is activated or the respective feature is used.

9. Prices and Payment Terms

Prices are based on the selected plan and the conditions stated on the website or during the booking process. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of statutory VAT.

Payments are processed through Stripe or other specified payment service providers. The user is responsible for providing valid and sufficient payment information.

For recurring subscriptions, the fee for the respective billing period is charged in advance unless otherwise agreed.

10. Term and Termination

The term depends on the selected plan. Subscriptions renew automatically for the respective billing period unless they are cancelled in due time.

Users may cancel their subscription through the functions provided within the platform or by notifying LeonLab, unless otherwise agreed.

The right to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.

11. Availability and Maintenance

LeonLab makes reasonable efforts to provide the platform with as little interruption as possible. However, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Maintenance work, technical changes, security updates or disruptions may lead to temporary restrictions.

12. Rights to Content and Results

The user retains their rights to the content and project data they enter. To the extent that LeonLab generates content, code or other results for the user, the user receives the rights required to use such results, unless third-party rights or legal restrictions prevent this.

The user is responsible for checking whether the use of generated content, code components or recommendations is legally and technically permissible in the specific case.

13. Data Protection

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in LeonLab's Privacy Policy. Where LeonLab processes personal data on behalf of the user, a Data Processing Agreement may additionally be required.

14. Liability

LeonLab shall be liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, as well as in the event of injury to life, body or health.

In cases of simple negligence, LeonLab shall only be liable for breach of essential contractual obligations. In such cases, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.

Liability for damages resulting from the unchecked use of AI-generated content, code, automations or recommendations is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Liability under the Product Liability Act and for mandatory statutory claims remains unaffected.

15. Changes to the Platform and Terms

LeonLab may further develop the platform and modify, extend or remove features, provided this is reasonable for users or required for technical, legal or security-related reasons.

LeonLab may amend these Terms where there is a valid reason. Users will be informed of material changes in an appropriate manner.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of LeonLab, to the extent legally permissible.
